Work Experience

Noble Smiles Dentistry (June 2022 - March 2023)

During my time at Noble Smiles Dentistry, I served as their Insurance Specialist and Patient Services Coordinator, handling administrative tasks and working closely with patients. I verified insurance benefits, managed pre-authorizations, and clearly explained treatment plans and costs to help patients make informed decisions about their care. I also managed EHR documentation and front-desk operations.

This role had a significant impact on my career journey, as it allowed me to see firsthand how meaningful non-clinical roles are in improving the patient experience. Through this experience, I discovered a passion for helping patients in an administrative capacity, which ultimately led me to switch my major to Health Services Management and pursue a career in the field.

Chili's Grill & Bar (July 2025 - Present)

Working at Chili’s has allowed me to develop strong customer service and communication skills in a fast-paced environment. As a server, I manage a high volume of guests while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency. I collaborate with team members effectively and efficiently, and consistently deliver a positive experience for guests.

This experience has strengthened my ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and handle challenges under pressure. Being ranked #4 out of 26 servers based on guest survey scores reflects my commitment to service excellence. These skills have played an important role in my long-term growth and will continue to support my success in healthcare, where strong communication and relationship-building are essential.

Occasionally Yours (August 2023 - August 2025)

At Occasionally Yours, I worked as a Sales Associate, providing personalized customer service and building strong relationships by understanding customer preferences and helping them find products that fit their needs. I also supported daily store operations, including inventory management, e-commerce order fulfillment, and point-of-sale transactions. This role required strong attention to detail, communication, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.

Through this experience, I developed valuable skills in relationship-building, active listening, and customer engagement, consistently ranking among the top-performing associates in monthly sales. This role contributed to my long-term success by strengthening my ability to connect with individuals, understand their needs, and deliver tailored experiences—skills that directly translate to my future career in healthcare provider recruitment, where building trust and fostering meaningful professional relationships are essential.
