I chose this assignment to highlight because this class as a whole has given me the opportunity to learn more about public health issues and encouraged me to look at healthcare from a bigger, global perscpetive, and this assignmnet is a perfect example of this. Researching sickle cell disease in Africa helped me better understand how access to healthcre, funding, and certain innovations/technologies can have a huge impact on health outcomes.

I now recognize that health is influenced by much more than just medical treatments. Education, access to resources, governmental support, economic inequalities all make a difference in health outcomes. Through this project, and many more like it, I have gained a greater appreciation for globla public health efforts and the role that healthcare leaders and organizations play in improving health outcomes globally.

This assignmnet strengthend my research, presentation, and public health analysis skills and I have a deeper understanding of healthcare on a global scale. I was proud to recieve a perfect score on this assignment, which is reflective on the effort and research I put in to understanding this public health issue.
