I chose this assignment to highlight because it is a full representation of the financial skills I developed through my time in the Health Services Management program. Within my time in the program, I completed three semesters focused on accounting, finance, and budgeting in a healthcare setting. This assignment is a strong example of the different types of financial statements we learned how to manage and calculate.

This assignment, along with many others that were similar, helped strengthen my understanding of how healthcare organizations organize and calculate financial data, and use this data to track financial performance and make decisions. While finance is not neccessarily the area of health I feel most confident in, I am grateful to have taken these courses because they have made me more comfortable analyzing healthcare financial information and understanding their importance. I recieved a 49 out of 50 on this assignmnet, which is a reflection of my understanding of this material.
