My internship with Riverview Health Physicians was the most impactful experience of my academic and professional journey. It allowed me to apply what I have learned in the classroom to a real-world healthcare setting while gaining a deeper understanding of how healthcare systems operate behind the scenes. Through my involvement in provider recruitment and operations, I saw how each role contributes to delivering high-quality patient care.

One of the most valuable aspects of this experience was the opportunity to build relationships with professionals across the organization and learn directly from their expertise. Sitting in on provider screenings, participating in interviews, and contributing to onboarding efforts gave me confidence in my ability to communicate professionally and engage in meaningful workplace interactions. I also learned the importance of adaptability, attention to detail, and taking initiative in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
