PBHL-H432: Health Care Marketing

ePortfolio of Health Care Marketing Plan

This is my final marketing ePortfolio for course H432: Health Care Marketing. Throughout the semester, we each developed a comprehensive marketing plan for a wellness program we needed to create for an existing organization at IU Indianapolis. The program I created, Jags & Cubs, focused on supporting mothering and pregnant students for IU Indy's Health and Wellness Promotion. The development of this marketing plan was the only thing we worked on throughout the semester, and this final portfolio combined all the plan's elements.

The purpose of this assignment was to apply healthcare marketing concepts and to learn how to create a professional, realistic marketing plan from beginning to end.

What I Learned

This assignment is one of the projects I am most proud of from my time here at IU Indianapolis. As someone with a strong creative side, I really enjoyed the opportunity to design and build this portfolio. Because this was a semester-long project, I truly put my whole heart into it, investing a lot of time and effort to ensure it was professional, informative, and visually appealing.

This project also gave me the opportunity to dive into an area of healthcare that I am passionate about but do not get much exposure to in my program: women's and maternal health. Creating a marketing plan focused on supporting pregnant and mothering students helped me better understand the importance of outreach, advocacy, and strategic communication.

This assignment strengthened my skills in healthcare marketing, research, professional design, and communication. I am proud of having received a 150 out of 150 on this project. My professor even asked if she could use my portfolio as an example for future classes, making this perfect score even more meaningful to me.
